Grupo Galrão is one of Portugal's established natural-stone groups, working stone from its own quarries through to finished slabs. Like most of the industry, its production, cataloguing, and commercial processes ran on separate systems and manual steps. Galrão deployed Stonify to connect them.
Capture on the line, catalogue in real time
High-precision scanners on Galrão's production line capture each slab as it is produced, recording dimensions and quality and digitizing the material into a catalogued, traceable record. A block can be catalogued and viewed before processing; once slabs are sawn and polished, they appear in the online catalogue with images, stock, and technical detail, current to the floor.
Traceability from cut to delivery
Each piece is digitally identified from the moment it is cut through to final delivery. That traceability is native, not bolted on, and it gives Galrão and its clients a shared, transparent view of exactly which material is involved, the real slab, not a sample.
Real stock online, turning into real leads
With its true inventory published online, Galrão shortened the distance between production and sale. The clearest result so far is commercial: the digital catalogue is generating qualified leads, translating into real conversion. Clients see what Galrão actually holds; Galrão gains visibility of its own stock and a new channel to reach the market.
With high-precision scanner integration, full traceability, and a direct link to the digital catalogue, Stonify lets us answer the market in a new way: faster, more precise, and more sustainable.
