Marmomac, in Verona, is the natural stone industry's leading international gathering. At the 2024 edition, Stonify took the Marmomac Talks stage to share how digitizing the way stone is produced, catalogued, and sold builds trust across the value chain.
Seeing the material, not just a sample
The talk, "Solid Transparency. Digital Evolution," made a simple case: when a buyer can see the exact material involved in a transaction, current and accurate, rather than a representative sample, trust follows. Stonify digitizes products and processes and surfaces that information in real time, so suppliers can show their full, true stock and reach new markets.
From the floor to the ERP
The session also covered Stonify's shopfloor monitoring, from machine sensing to the data captured by the people doing the work, all connected to a central ERP. That integration is what lets stone suppliers see their operation clearly and act on it.
Stonify was represented by João Vital and Rui Almeida. The session was part of the public Marmomac Talks programme.
